Tyler served in the U.S. Army for four years as an active-duty Signal Corps officer, earning the rank of Captain before separating in 2019. He served with the 1st Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Infantry Division at Fort Riley, Kansas where he held multiple leadership positions, providing IT management and organizational signal support. During this time, Tyler completed a combat deployment to Afghanistan, a rotational tour to Eastern Europe, and various training missions throughout the United States. Supporting his professional career, Tyler commissioned through Army R.O.T.C. at Saint John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota, earning a B.A. in Global Business Leadership and Asian Studies, and later went on to complete a M.B.A. at Liberty University. Tyler currently works as an Enterprise Architecture Standards and Procedures Specialist with U.S. Bank, connecting people, technology, and governance for new banking technology initiatives. He is married to his wife Leah and is constantly looking for opportunities to serve to the Veteran community while being a positive change agent in the world.
